HR Business Partner (6 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Job Introduction
This 6-month Fixed Term opportunity has arisen as a result of a small restructure in our People & Organisational Development team. This role will hold the primary relationship with the Engagement & Fundraising Leadership Team, ensuring they have the breadth of support required to manage their teams. This key role will be part of the HR Business Partner team, whilst reporting directly to the Director of People & OD.
The role is London-based, but the successful candidate can work remotely up to 3 days per week

Role Responsibility
This role is responsible for delivering the HR Business Partner service, providing HR advice, guidance and coaching to the Engagement & Fundraising directorate. You will advise on people issues to all levels of the organisation, and will support and challenge managers on building our capability, capacity and culture that enable the organisation to deliver our strategy. You will lead on organisation design and will provide guidance and support during periods of change. You will be a crucial member of the People & OD Leadership Team, bringing your insights and suggestions on how we can continue to make Diabetes UK a great place to work.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be CIPD qualified, to Level 5 or above, and have experience of working in a similar business partnering role in another organisation. You will be approachable, listen well, and respect confidentiality, whilst also being able to hold leaders and managers to account when needed. You will have a working knowledge of employment law, and be committed to continued professional development. Ideally you will have experience of working in a unionised environment, although this is not essential.
