Contract:  24 month part-time FTC 

Hours: 21

Location: London with hybrid working

We ask colleagues to spend at least one day a week in the office, with more time in person  when this supports effective collaboration or the needs of the Charity

Salary: £18,482 - £20,536 (£30,804 - £34,227 FTE)

About the Charity

We are Diabetes UK and our mission is to tackle diabetes, day in and day out, until it can do no harm. With more people than ever living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed.  

But there’s so much more to do – and you can be part of it. 

Summary of role

The risk factors of type 2 diabetes are multiple and complex, but for some identified groups of people, rising numbers of diagnosis are even more prominent and we know inequity and access to health information can affect outcomes for them.

That’s why we’re looking for two part-time content producers to grow and develop our existing range of prevention and prediabetes information, through the creation of engaging content, across a range of formats, to reach those audiences at greater risk.

Through the creation of these targeted health information resources, we believe we can make a difference to the lives of people at the point of diagnosis, with compelling and engaging content that feels relevant to them.

This content will be for web, email, video and publications – we’re especially keen to hear from people with video project management experience, as well as alternative formats or translations for printed materials. Most of all we are looking for people who can demonstrate strong content creation skills and a passion for our ambitious programme of work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly content function, and work on a project that can deliver real change over the next couple of years.
