Test Manager (6 months FTC)

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Test Manager as part of our Better Data Programme, specifically focusing on the Data Hub and CRM projects. This fixed-term role is central to our strategy to enhance data management, validation, and reporting capabilities across the organisation. As a Test Manager, you'll lead the Test Phase, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of testing strategies and plans. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts to improve data handling and utilisation, facilitating better decision-making and operational efficiency.

Role Responsibility

The Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of testing within the Better Data Programme, focusing on the Data Hub and CRM projects. This includes the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and scripts, encompassing both system testing and user acceptance testing. You will work with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure testing is effectively planned and executed. Additionally, you will ensure the provision of suitable test environments and data, and manage documentation and system sign-off processes.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for candidates with a background in providing testing services to complex technical projects, particularly those involving data management systems like Azure and Dynamics CRM. You should have experience in producing detailed test strategies, plans, and scripts, and be adept at advising on and maintaining test environments. A solid understanding of the data required to support testing phases is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively across both technical and business teams. While a formal Test Management qualification is preferable, we highly value practical experience and a proven track record of success in similar roles.
