Technical Project Manager (SCRUM Master)

Job Introduction

This role will lead on not only the delivery of changes that come through the charity’s Information Systems (IS) team, but also be a champion for changing the ways of working with the team within projects. This role has the opportunity to make a real change within Diabetes UK by bringing our wide stakeholder group along on a journey to improve efficiency

Interview Date: 29 & 30 July 21

Role Responsibility

  • Manage the delivery of project outcomes relating to the IS team
  • Start and maintain weekly development/delivery cycles
  • Implement new ways of working within the IS team
  • Train IS team on best practice around project management and AGILE principles

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced AGILE project manager who has run projects using SCRUM development methodologies within teams with a broad number of responsibilities (across support and multiple projects). They should also have had significant involvement in projects that require cultural change within an organisation that brings about more efficient ways of working. Finally, we need someone who is not afraid of getting involved with the detail and really understanding the depth of what they are delivering.
