About the Charity
We are Diabetes UK and our mission is to tackle diabetes, day in and day out, until it can do no harm. With more people than ever living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed.
But there’s so much more to do – and you can be part of it.
Summary of role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual giving manager to join our retention and membership team. This team oversees the retention of our members and donors, who make so much of our work possible.
You'll lead appeals and raffles which bring in vital funds. You'll also help develop our recently relaunched regular giving product and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we're guided by data and insight. You'll help to improve our net income while also ensuring our individual giving activities are legal, ethical and on-brand.
We're looking for someone with experience in individual giving or membership retention and who has a strong understanding of the fundraising landscape across UK charities. You'll need to be a good relationship builder, able to see the bigger picture and happy to use your influencing skills to help make sure fundraising is at the heart of everything we do.
