Senior Clinical Advisor

Job Introduction

Are you a registered healthcare professional with an expertise within diabetes, and looking for a new challenge? Well we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Advisor to work within the Care Team and alongside the Head of Care. You will use your expertise bringing insight and knowledge at the forefront of diabetes advances with a focus on those with, and at risk of diabetes get the best care possible.

Role Responsibility

As a senior clinical advisor you will work in collaboration with your colleagues within the Care Team but also with other non-clinical internal stakeholders across the organisation. You will provide expertise within your clinical area on a range of matters including the development of products and resources, improving public understanding of diabetes through local and national media channels, reviewing evidence based practise and critically appraising to ensure clinical accuracy. 

The Ideal Candidate

As a registered healthcare professional currently working as a specialist in diabetes you will have the skills and expertise to produce high quality articles and patient information. As well as have the ability to facilitate patient education sessions, and.  thus you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex clinical issues into understandable format.  

You will have innovative and creative thinking approach to clinical advice brining insight and knowledge. You will have an understanding of the challenges faced by people with diabetes and have a person centred approach at the heart of your work.
