Reporting Analyst - Better Data Programme

Job Introduction

At Diabetes UK, we recognise that becoming a more proactive, data-driven organisation is essential for achieving our ambitious goals. As we launched a new CRM system in October 2024, this role will be instrumental in supporting our Data Strategy. The focus will be on rebuilding and evolving our existing reports, utilizing data from the new CRM and our carefully curated data layer. The insights generated through this process will play a pivotal role in shaping decision-making across the organisation.

Role Responsibility

The Reporting Analyst will play critical role in supporting the CRM Go-Live by working closely with internal stakeholders & senior management to understand their requirements and to aid them in getting the most out of Power BI so that they can measure the impact of their activities and drive organisational strategy. Additionally with understanding of the Business needs, both at team and organisation level, they will create bespoke data sets, advise internal stakeholders on how to structure reports effectively, and ensure data accuracy and compliance. The Reporting Analyst will also drive best practise around Power BI, facilitate easy access to reports, train & empower stakeholders in the use Power BI, and collaborates with the Data Hub team to optimise data flow into the Power BI ecosystem.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re searching for a skilled reporting analyst with expertise on the creation of reports in Power BI, DAX & SQL that enable teams to understand their impact & react in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience extracting and manipulating data, creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. Equally important, they must excel in stakeholder management and communication, troubleshooting their Power BI issues, collaborating closely with business users to understand requirements and translate technical insights into actionable recommendations as well as advising them on how to optimise their reporting. Additionally, they stay updated on Power BI best practices and ensure GDPR compliance and have some knowledge of the Not-for-Profit sector.
