Project Manager - Data Hub (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Job Introduction

As a Project Manager in our Corporate Services directorate, you’ll play a vital role on our Better Data Programme team delivering a Data hub and improving the way we work with customer data and ultimately improving the customer experience for our millions of supporters and service users.

Role Responsibility
As project manager for the Data hub project you will be responsible for driving an in-flight project delivering new methods of data ingestion, data standardisation, validation, contact management, master data management, a data repository and a new reporting environment through to completion. You will manage the project team including in-house and third party staff and liaise with other project managers within the programme to ensure project dependencies are actively managed. You will have a focus on delivery and tracking progress against plans to ensure risks and issues are proactively managed and challenges are escalated in an appropriate way. You will work closely with other Better Data Programme staff and business stakeholders to ensure that the solutions and processes are delivered in way that maximises the business benefit that Diabetes UK gets from out investment in new technologies.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a Project Manager who has proven experience of driving projects to completion as part of a wider programme. You will have experience of deploying agile methodologies in complex technology and process change projects. You will also have a solid understanding of data mastering, transformations and reporting. You will be able to demonstrate experience of matrix management of teams, RAID management, budget management and a focus on ensuring projects deliver business benefit.
