Planning and Projects Officer

Job Introduction

Diabetes UK has an ambitious and exciting strategy – A generation to end the harm 2020-2025 – with a focus on improving outcomes for all people affected by and at risk of diabetes, making a difference to lives in the ways that matter most. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring we plan effectively across the charity to deliver our strategy in a co-ordinated and impactful way.

Second stage interviews: 13 December (face to face at Wells Lawrence House, London)

Role Responsibility

In this role you will:

  • Oversee and support the business planning and impact measurement framework to ensure effective delivery of our strategy
  • Oversee and embed our cross-charity project prioritisation approach
  • Drive our corporate project management approach and capacity across the organisation

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of supporting business planning and project management
  • Experience of impact measurement and reporting
  • Experience in planning and facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience of managing multiple deadlines and activities
  • Highly IT literate and able to use digital tools to support planning
  • Solution-focussed with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding of which channels to use to communicate with a range of stakeholders
