Mass Participation Manager

Job Introduction

It is an exciting time to join what is a busy, successful and growing Fundraising Events & Mass Participation Team as we take the opportunity to capitalise on additional investment to keep growing our challenges and improving the experience we offer supporters.

Fundraising Events is an important area of growth for Diabetes UK’s Engagement and Fundraising Directorate. We have seen some great successes in our Diabetes UK bespoke challenges both in terms of acquisition and fundraised income over the past few years which has enabled us to grow the Fundraising Events & Mass Participation team.

Role Responsibility

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on developing our existing bespoke challenges, such as Swim22, 1 Million Step Challenge and our London Bridges Challenge, as well as contributing to our plans to grow mass participation activity by prototyping and testing new concepts.

We are pleased to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with the team on continuing to develop our mass participation activity from concept through to delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this position you should have a solid track record marketing and delivering successful mass participation activity, as well as having excellent communication and project management skills.
