Marketing Manager - 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Job Introduction

With the number of people living with and at risk of diabetes growing every day, our work has never felt more needed, or relevant. Our marketing and communications teams are central to helping us reach more people than ever to achieve our vision of a world where diabetes can do no harm.

The Strategic Marketing team is responsible for developing a coherent approach to marketing across Diabetes UK that allows us to reach, engage, inform and support more people living with, or at risk of, diabetes. That’s why we’re looking for a brilliant Marketing Manager to join our team for 6 months and help us deliver maximum impact through our marketing campaigns this year.

Role Responsibility

Working within the Marketing & Communications division, this exciting six month role will be responsible for working with teams from across Diabetes UK to design and deliver creative, multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns.

You’ll take a leading role in championing an insight-driven, integrated and innovative approach to marketing, with our audiences at its heart, in order to drive awareness, engagement and conversions for key products and services - including our annual conference for healthcare professionals. 

The Ideal Candidate

This is the perfect role for a confident, strategic thinker with excellent skills in marketing and stakeholder management. You’ll be a skilled copywriter and be adept at building strong working relationships and advising colleagues on measuring success, channel planning and efficient marketing.

 

You’ll have a strong marketing and communications background – gained within an agency or in-house marketing environment – and significant experience developing and delivering multi-channel, integrated, innovative marketing strategies and campaigns, across a range of online and offline channels. Ideally, you'll have experience of marketing in a B2B environment, specifically healthcare marketing, to help us reach and engage a healthcare professional audience.
