About the Charity

We are Diabetes UK and our mission is to tackle diabetes, day in and day out, until it can do no harm. With more people than ever living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed.

But there’s so much more to do – and you can be part of it.

Summary of role

Help colleagues connect to a mission that changes lives.
As our Internal Communications and Engagement Manager, you'll lead the way we communicate, engage and listen across Diabetes UK. You'll create clear, meaningful communications that help colleagues understand our mission, strategy and priorities, while ensuring they feel informed, involved and connected to the difference they make every day.

This role matters because engaged colleagues make a bigger impact.
Success in this role means building trust through open and honest communication, giving leaders the tools and confidence to communicate well, and turning colleague feedback into visible action. You'll help create a culture where people feel connected, listened to and inspired to play their part in helping Diabetes UK achieve its ambitious goals.

Join us and help shape the conversations, connections and culture that power our mission

What we’re looking for:

You'll be a natural storyteller with the confidence to influence, challenge and support colleagues at all levels. Curious, collaborative and proactive, you'll combine excellent communication skills with strong judgement, using insight and feedback to drive meaningful action. If you're excited by the opportunity to shape culture, build trust and help colleagues feel connected to a cause that changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.
