Health Partnership Lead (9-12 Month Maternity Cover)

Job Introduction

This role is vital for our work to continue within our tri-charity and Tesco partnership. The health partnership lead coordinates our programmes and plans from a public health perspective. You will work closely with CRUK and BHF representing our charity and the needs of the diabetes community. You will work with other internal partnership specialists to ensure a smooth partner relationship and to drive our mission of a ‘world where diabetes can do no harm’, through public health initiatives.

Role Responsibility

Using behaviour change principles and public health knowledge you will lead on pharmacist education in Tesco stores. You will provide insights to other Tesco health initiatives such as branding or badging. You will ensure that health continues to be the forefront of fundraising within Tesco stores. You will liaise with various Tesco senior leaders and colleagues form other charities to keep the health partnership focused.

The Ideal Candidate

As the health partnership lead you will have extensive knowledge of the public health. You will have experience of working in a public health initiative setting. You will understand the relationship between public health, type 2 diabetes, and consumer behaviour change principles. You will be able to form good working relationships with other charities and the food industry.
