Finance Assistant

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the accounts processing team in the Finance department at Diabetes UK.

Interview Date(s): 2nd, 3rd & 4th February 2022

Role Responsibility

This role is responsible for recording financial transactions. It includes a six-month rotation of work to allow the role to cover all aspects of financial processing from accounts payable, recording donations on our donor management system, accounts receivable and banking. The finance assistant role is the first point of contact for transactional queries from stakeholders internal and external to the business.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be interested in a career in finance and will have the ability to work swiftly and accurately with a large volume of transactions, be able to work flexibly within a team and have excellent communication skills. They should be able to organise their time to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
