Executive Assistant to the Director of Engagement and Fundraising

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our very busy Engagement and Fundraising Department for a 12 month maternity cover. You will have a pro-active can-do attitude, be a great relationships builder, have exemplary planning and organisational skills, be confident in influencing senior colleagues and thrive on solving problems and seeing things through.   You will also be able to work autonomously and on your own initiative.

Role Responsibility

This is a key role in the department proactively providing all aspects of executive assistant support to the Director of Engagement & Fundraising.  This includes acting as first point of contact internally and externally, managing a busy diary and inbox, managing internal communications in the department, taking minutes, maintaining and managing the administrative processes and systems for the Director, producing and commissioning reports, drafting responses and managing travel and accommodation arrangements.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a highly organised and flexible individual with experience of providing administrative support at Director level and/ or managing projects. You will have great written and verbal communication with the ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines and adapt quickly to change.
