Job Introduction
Are you passionate about making a real difference? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our charity as our Equity, Diversity an Inclusion (EDI) manager.
We believe that equity, diversity and inclusion are key drivers of innovation and success, and this role will drive our charity’s progress toward achieving as part of our Tackling Inequality Ambition. This includes leading on internal change initiatives, organisational development programmes and providing expert advice and guidance across the charity.
As our EDI manager you will bring a sound knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion best practice and be able to communicate this in a compelling way and you will have experience presenting to a wide range of people, adapting your style and approach to meet the needs of different audiences with confidence and influencing them to take action You will have experience of helping organisations to turn aspirations set out in an EDI strategy to reality and experience of identifying the measures and metrics that help us track our progress and will work with colleagues across the charity at all levels and in all areas.

We have a friendly and inclusive working environment here at Diabetes UK and are proud of our hybrid approach which allows great flexibility in the way that we work. This means that you can balance your working time between home and the office, subject to the needs of your role.
You can be based at any Diabetes UK office, and you will be required to work from that office 1 day a week and will be required to attend monthly team meetings in London ( Aldgate East office)
