Digital Insight Analyst (9 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Job Introduction
The Digital Insight Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital platforms to better support people affected by diabetes. This role is central to our A/B and Multi-Variate Testing (MVT) Optimisation programme, helping to drive a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Working closely with key stakeholders, product owners, and the wider Data & Insight team, you’ll use data-driven insights to test, learn, and optimise user experiences. From developing and managing digital tracking and analytics systems to delivering actionable insights through dashboards and reports, your work will directly influence how we engage with our audiences online.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact—bringing positive learning to the forefront of digital data, and helping to ensure our digital services are effective, inclusive, and aligned with our strategic ambitions.
Role description
This individual will play a key role in managing the Digital Optimisation programme, guiding the full lifecycle of testing—from hypothesis generation and stakeholder alignment to prioritisation and implementation using tools such as Webtrends Optimize.
You will be responsible for monitoring active tests, analysing outcomes, and drawing actionable conclusions. Using platforms like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, and BigQuery, you’ll deliver clear, evidence-based insights to stakeholders, helping shape future testing strategies and inform long-term improvements to customer journeys, user experience, and website development.
As part of the Data & Insight team, the Digital Insight Analyst will also support broader digital analysis efforts. This includes providing strategic insights across digital channels, enhancing reporting capabilities, and contributing to the organisation’s data-driven decision-making culture.
Your work will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, fostering a test-and-learn mindset, and ensuring our digital platforms effectively support people affected by diabetes.
The ideal candidate
You’ll be passionate about digital customer journeys and user experience, with a strong understanding of how digital data can be leveraged to optimise and enhance these experiences. You’ll bring curiosity and analytical thinking to the role, with a keen interest in using data to drive meaningful improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a test-and-learn mindset—comfortable with experimentation, hypothesis-driven testing, and drawing insights from results to inform future strategies. You’ll be confident using tools like GA4, BigQuery, and Looker Studio to uncover insights and communicate them clearly.
Collaboration is key in this role, so you’ll need to be an excellent communicator who can work effectively with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference for people affected by diabetes through smarter, data-informed digital experiences. You will have a strong interest in Digital customer journeys and user experience. You will have a good level of understanding of Digital data, and how important this can be in developing and optimising customer journeys and user experience.
