A key driver within our charity’s strategy is that we will be insight-driven as we strive to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. As our Digital Analyst you will champion and develop evidence based decision making, enabling us to maximise our digital presence and increase customer engagement across digital platforms and through campaigns. You will drive our digital analytics, allowing us to shape, test and grow what we do in the digital space. Supported by a wider team of insight analysts, we will use the insights gathered to help us drive engagement across both digital and non-digital activity.
You will work with colleagues to set up tracking and monitor their digital activity. You’ll lead on building dashboards and upskilling staff to access their own data, helping them draw insights from it. You’ll advise on how we should approach digital analytics compliantly and you’ll analyse data to produce actionable insights. Working across the charity you will drive teams to engage with digital data, using insight to shape and improve what we do so we reach more of our target audiences, provide them tailored and relevant information and build engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated individual experienced in using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics and skilled at generating actionable insight to help shape future activities. You will confidently support and upskill others to engage with digital analysis and influence them to think wider than individual products, instead about the whole customer experience. You will be passionate about the role data and insight can play in driving improvement and innovation, embrace and champion change, and can balance reactive demands with working towards a long-term vision.

About the Company
Diabetes is the most devastating and fastest growing health crisis of our time. There are currently more than 3.9 million people in the UK diagnosed with diabetes, and just under 1 million more with undiagnosed type 2.
We are working to make sure that those affected by diabetes get the best care and support they need to live well with their condition and avoid life-changing complications. We're leading the way by funding critical research, improving healthcare and treatment so we can reach our vision of a world where diabetes can do no harm.
Diabetes UK staff are motivated and experienced and extremely passionate about helping people affected by diabetes. We have been fighting for people with diabetes for more than 80 years and changed millions of lives thanks to the new treatments, technology and policy changes we've been behind.
But there's more to do. And you can be part of it.
We're a diverse bunch and as a charity we recognise and respect the value of everyone.
We've recently been awarded a One Star Accreditation status by Best Companies. And this year we were named 65th in the top 100 not-for-profit organisations in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list.
We're committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expect all staff and volunteers to actively support this commitment.
We have a vision of a world where diabetes can do no harm. If you’d like to be part of that, why not join us?
