Data Programme Change Manager (15 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Introduction

A key driver within our charity’s strategy is our ability to harness the benefits of our technology and data to help us create a world where diabetes can do no harm. As the Data Programme Change Manager in our Corporate Services directorate, you’ll play a vital role on our Better Data Programme team to help colleagues across the charity to get the most from our new systems, improving the way we work with customer data and ultimately improving the customer experience for our millions of supporters and service users.

We have a friendly and inclusive working environment here at Diabetes UK and are proud of our ‘Connected Working’ framework which allows great flexibility in the way that we work. This means that you can balance your working time between home and the office, subject to the needs of your role of course. We do not dictate the number of days you have to attend the office.

Role Responsibility

You will enhance and execute change plans to deliver transformative change to support teams adopt new technologies (Data Hub, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Reporting solutions) and ways of working.  A key focus to help build a data driven organisation, which includes using data from our systems, encouraging better reporting, extensive analysis, and more effective data management across Diabetes UK. You’ll work closely to in partnership with our Project Managers, Business Analysts and subject matter experts to lead the development of process documentation and training materials to help ensure Diabetes UK gets the very best from our investment in our new technologies.

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced change manager who is skilled in driving change management strategies in partnership with colleagues at all levels and with varying levels of technical ability. You understand data systems and can explain technical topics simply, in engaging and enthusiastic ways. You have a great understanding of Change Methodologies and know how to build and deliver communication plans to support colleagues to embrace new ways of working to get the most from new systems.
