Celebrity and Influencer Manager

As part of Diabetes UK’s highly successful media, stories and celebrity team this role plays a vital role in growing and building connections with celebrities, influencers and supporters.

The team collectively work to build awareness of diabetes, the services we offer, and world-class, life-changing research that Diabetes UK funds.

Role Responsibility

The Celebrity and Influencer Manager has responsibility for maintaining relationships with impact with celebrity and influencer supporters, devising and driving activity, advising colleagues and identifying and securing new supporters.

You’ll be working on our biggest moments in the year, bringing in the support of well-known names from sport, music, entertainment and more, as well as working with influencers in the diabetes community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an engaging, persuasive and expert Celebrity and Influencer Manager with a track record of building relationships with artists, sportspeople and content creators. Responsible for managing our portfolio of celebrity and influencer supporters and securing support for our key activities throughout the year, as well as identifying emerging opportunities.

You’ll have excellent knowledge of celebrity and influencer relationship management, what makes tik tok creators tick and artists who are passionate about the cause light up. You’ll bring a track record of securing the buy-in of celebrities and content creators and implementing best practice. You’ll also have experience of securing media coverage and working with celebrities to do so, managing sensitivities to achieve the best results for all.

Experience of working on health conditions would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
