Brand Manager

Job Introduction

That’s where our brand comes in, and as brand manager you’ll be part of a passionate team working to make sure our personality and identity shines through everything we do as a charity.  

You’ll be joining us as an exciting time. We’ve recently refreshed our brand and have just launched our first ever brand advertising campaign. It’s a big moment for our brand and we’re already excited about how we can build on this over the next year

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and brand manager to help us bring our new personality, tone of voice and visual identity to life across our work. This is a great opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity, building their trust and confidence in our brand and to make change happen

1st Stage Interviews:  7 December 2021 on MS Teams 
2nd second Interviews: 10 December 2021 (face to face at Wells Lawrence House, London)

We may consider someone working 4 days 28 hours. Please note that the salary would then be pro rata'd. 

Role Responsibility

As brand manager you’ll act as a brand guardian, providing expert feedback to make sure everything from our mass participation events to our policy work is a great reflection of our brand.

You’ll provide training, advice and consultancy to colleagues at all levels – and you’ll build great working relationships along the way. 

You’ll be responsible for evaluating our brand health, making strategic recommendations about how we develop and grow our brand.

You’ll be part of a skilled and enthusiastic brand and creative team, and you’ll enjoy bringing creative ideas to life through our brand. 
 

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll have relevant experience in managing brands as a significant part of your role. You’ll be confident in working with tone of voice, visual identity and personality and helping bring this to life for colleague at all levels. And you’ll be a confident and experienced project manager, who has led and rolled out strategic brand projects, ideally in a charity setting.

You’ll enjoy working with people, making the most of opportunities to influence, negotiate and inspire our teams to show how our brand can add value to their work. And you’ll be great at spotting opportunities to strengthen and optimise our brand through their work too. 

You’ll be able to absorb new information quickly and prioritise your work to help us deliver our objectives.

Most of all, you’ll be as passionate as we are about making a tangible difference for millions of people living with or at risk of diabetes, by bringing our purpose to life right across the charity, so we can achieve our vision of a future where diabetes does no harm.
